· Important Notes
Temperature: It gets cool in the early morning and evening, with nighttime temperatures potentially dropping below 10°C. The temperature rises at noon with strong UV rays. Please wear and carry appropriate clothing.
Rain: Afternoon showers are common on the grassland in the evenings. Please bring rain gear.
Sun Protection: Bringing sun protection items is highly recommended.
Insect Repellent: Bringing mosquito repellent is highly recommended.
Supplies: It is advised to carry a small amount of food, snacks, and drinking water, as shopping in the scenic area is less convenient than in the city.
· Course Information
The schedule, course distance, and elevation gain will be released in the race and course information sections. It is recommended that you download the course information (or save the course map images) and bookmark our digital race manual for easy reference.
·Does the organizing committee provide bicycle repair services? What’s the time and location?
The organizing committee will provide maintenance service before the race. Please check the schedule in the maintenance service module of the Online event manual.
· What could I do if I have a puncture or other mechanical problems during the race?
We recommend you bring your spare tire and portable inflator with you, the organizing committee will also place some inflators at supply stations on the track. The organizing committee will not provide neutral services, nor will any team or club cars be allowed to drive on the track.
· Where could I find the results? How to get the certificates and medals after race?
After race, participants will get a race medal at the finish line. Participants can check their results and download certificates on the official website and Online event manual.
· How to apply for a prize money?
Please log in to the Online event manual and fill in your personal information on the prize money application page. After verification by the organizing committee, the prize money will be distributed within 10 working days. If the award-winning participant is found to have violated rules and regulations, the ranking and prize money will be directly cancelled, and the subsequent ranking will not increase. Winners are required to attend the award ceremony in time. Winners who do not attend the award ceremony are considered to have voluntarily given up their prize money. The forfeited prize money will not be passed on to other participants.
· What should I do if I get lost or accidentally get injured during the race?
During the race, the emergency phone number is 18618331277, which can be found on the number bib. We suggest that you bring your mobile phone with you, please remember the signs and supply stations along the track before the race.
· What race essentials should I prepare for this event?

You must bring either your passport or ID card for check-in.
General Requirements for All Events
1.Participants shall prepare personal energy supplies including energy gels, energy bars, salt tablets and other essential sports supplements.
2.High-factor sunscreen is required to protect against strong sunlight on the Inner Mongolia Plateau. Sports sunglasses are also recommended.
3.Please bring portable raincoats and outdoor mosquito repellent products.
4.Carry a fully charged mobile phone and power bank for event communication and emergency assistance.
5.A long-sleeve jacket is necessary due to the large temperature difference in Xiwu Banner. The daytime temperature may reach 30°C while dropping to 10°C at night.
6.Mosquitoes are prevalent on grasslands. Please prepare mosquito repellent, sunscreen, common medicines and daily necessities.
7.Sports watches and bicycle computers are recommended. Download the race route track to your watch, bicycle computer or mobile phone in advance.
Running Event Requirements
1.Wear quick-drying breathable sportswear, sun hats and other sun-protective outfits.
2.The running course consists of grassland dirt roads and stony paths. Wear professional anti-slip and wear-resistant trail running shoes; lightweight trekking poles are allowed.
3.Wear thorn-proof gaiters and sand-proof sports socks to avoid scratches, bruises and foot injuries on rough terrain.
Cycling Event Requirements“
1.Certified cycling helmets and gloves must be worn throughout the race as core safety gear.
2.Wear quick-drying breathable cycling jerseys and tight cycling shorts suitable for long-distance riding.
3.Prepare eligible racing bicycles with fully inspected and well-adjusted conditions in advance.
4.Equip sports water bottles or hydration bladders, and prepare sports drinks and energy supplements.
5.Bring basic maintenance tools including portable air pumps, tire repair kits, spare inner tubes and multi-functional repair tools.
· What rules do I need to pay attention to?
All participants should be familiar with the rules, please refer to the event rules in the online event manual for details.
① Littering zones: Xiwuqi King of the Grasslands supports Leave No Trace (LNT) and will be strictly implementing its policy. Littering will only be allowed at well-marked and designated zones around the refreshment stations. Participants who are spotted throwing away bottles, cups, wrapping paper or any other garbage outside these zones will be disqualified from the result list of the event.
②Refreshment stations: Beautiful Countryside Run will have aid stations every 5 kilometers, while the Cycling Race will have one every 30 kilometers.These aid stations will be equipped with first aid kits for minor injuries, water, sports drinks, Snickers bars, and other food items. Please note that fresh fruit will only be provided at the finish line.
③Clothes deposit: participants can drop off extra clothing or personal belongings at the secured designated area at start/finish arena, please do not store valuable items such as phones and wallets. Please use the stickers with your number bib print to identify your clothes bag. After race, you can collect your bag with your number bib.
④Toilet: Mobile restrooms will be available at the start, finish, and along the course.
A special reminder: The weather in the high-altitude grasslands is highly changeable. Please make sure to double-check your gear. We strongly recommend bringing warm clothing, such as cycling jackets and full-finger gloves. If needed, feel free to reach out to nearby staff for assistance.
